Langqi Island is known as the "Pearl of the Minjiang River Estuary". It is backed by mountains and sea and has beautiful scenery. Located at the mouth of the Minjiang River, it is an alluvial plain at the mouth of the Minjiang River and belongs to Mawei District, Fuzhou City. The island has a total area of 92 square kilometers, including 55 square kilometers of land area, and the island's forest coverage rate reaches 20%. The tidal flat area is 37 square kilometers and the coastline is 30 kilometers long. The island is 15.3 kilometers long from east to west and 8.1 kilometers wide from north to south, which is equivalent to the area of Hong Kong. It is the fourth largest island in Fujian Province. The island is crisscrossed with roads and has excellent natural conditions, making it a good place for tourism and leisure.

How to get there:

To get to Langqi Island from downtown Fuzhou, you can take bus No. 40 at the "Rende Bus Station" southwest of Fuzhou Wuyi Square, or take bus No. 36 to Dongqi Pier, and then take the ferry to Langqi Island.
