Liaoyang Confucian Temple Garden is a square park rebuilt on the site of the original Confucian Temple. The Confucian Temple was the earliest and largest Confucian temple in the Northeast at that time. Nine of the twelve emperors of the Qing Dynasty inscribed plaques for it. Later, the entire building complex was restored during the Cultural Revolution. All periods were destroyed. In the rebuilt square, tens of thousands of trees of more than 100 species have been planted, more than 10,000 square meters of lawn have been planted, the largest statue of Confucius in the country has been sculpted, and a large number of buildings necessary for traditional Confucian temples have been built. Although most of today's landscapes are newly built, they still cannot stop the long-standing cultural heritage of the Liaoyang area, attracting citizens to relax and exercise here and tourists to explore culture.

The Confucian Temple is located on Xinyun Street in the urban area, covering an area of ​​more than 30,000 square meters. The architectural layout is from south to north, with new landscapes such as Lingxing Gate, Panchi, Zhuangyuan Bridge, Confucius Statue, and Nine Dragon Wall on the same central axis. There are incense pavilion and health pavilion in the east of the square, and a poetry recital pavilion in the west. The murals on the west wall are more than 200 meters long and contain 103 pictures of Confucius' sacred sites. In addition, some fitness equipment is also placed in the square for citizens to exercise.
