Liaoyang Guanyin Temple is the center of local Buddhist activities and the seat of the Liaoyang Buddhist Association. Guanyin Temple is built on a 30-meter-high earth mountain that rises abruptly and is said to be "three mountains are not visible". Guanyin Temple is located in the east section of Zhonghua Street, covering an area of 16,800 square meters. It has 5 main halls, a Zen hall, a Buddhist hall at the back, and the east and west side halls are Sanxiao Hall, Luzu Hall and Gongde Hall.
