Baisha Ancient Town is one of the "Three Ancient Towns of Lijiang" together with Dayan and Shuhe. It is the first settlement of the Naxi people in Lijiangba. It is also the birthplace of the Mu clan chieftain in Lijiang and the earliest political center of the Naxi people. Baisha Ancient Town is named after the white sand grains on the surface, which is called "Bengshi" in Naxi language. Among them, the white sand murals are part of Lijiang's world cultural heritage. Baisha Ancient Town is located 12 kilometers north of Lijiang City. How to get there:
1. Bus route:
(1) Take bus No. 3, get off at Baisha Town Government Station, and walk for 10 minutes to the ancient town.
(2) In Jinjia Market (take bus No. 8 from Baixin Shopping Mall), take a local van, which costs 5 yuan per person, and get on the bus at the Baisha Street parking lot.
(3) After cycling from Dayan Ancient Town to Shuhe Ancient Town, go to Baisha Ancient Town.
(4) Taking a taxi from Lijiang Old Town, the round-trip cost is about 40 yuan.
2. Self-driving route:
Minzhu Road → Education Road → Yuquan Road → to the ancient town.
