Attractions distribution:

The Lotus Pond was the water source of Beijing in ancient times. During the Liao and Jin Dynasties, a capital city was built southwest of the Lotus Pond. Later, the capital was destroyed due to the demise of the Liao and Jin Dynasties, and the Lotus Pond gradually fell into disuse. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Lotus Pond Park was rebuilt and planned, becoming a rare tourist destination in the capital that retains its original scenery and water interest.
