Luliang Colorful Sand Forest Scenic Area is the largest colored sand sculpture theme park in the world. The colored sand forest has a long history and is known as the "Three Forests" of Yunnan along with the stone forest and earth forest. The sand forest is formed by weathering and denudation and is in the shape of mountains and peaks. The Colorful Sand Forest Scenic Area is located in Luliang County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province, covering an area of 25 square kilometers and a protected area area of 52.8 square kilometers. It is an important scenic spot on the Yunnan tourist route. How to get there:
The Colorful Sand Forest is connected to National Highway 324 and next to Luliang Station of the Nan-Kunming Railway. The Colorful Sand Forest is located between the four counties of Luliang, Luxi, Shilin and Shizong. There are shuttle buses from major bus stations in Kunming to Luliang, and then You can get there by bus; or you can take the shuttle bus to Shizong or Luoping and get off at Zhaokua. The transportation is very convenient.

Colored Sarin Ticket Price:
Adult tickets: 100 yuan/person.
Children's tickets: 20 yuan for children between 1.2 meters and 1.5 meters tall, free for children under 1.2 meters tall;
Elderly tickets are free for senior citizens over 65 years old with a senior citizen ID card, and free for military officers with military officer ID cards;
Tickets do not include horse riding, sedan rides, etc.
