Lushun Friendship Park was built to commemorate the friendship between China and the Soviet Union and the liberation of Lushun. It is an important red commemorative landscape in Lushun. Friendship Park is located at the east foot of Baiyu Mountain, with the Lushun Liberation Tower as the core landscape. In the spring of 1999, it was rebuilt into its current square form. Lushun Liberation Tower stands majestically in the center of the square, with a granite-carved five-pointed star on the top, a granite-carved sickle and hammer on the front, and a topographic map of the Liaodong Peninsula covered with stone-carved military flags on the back. The stone carvings clearly record the Chinese and Soviet languages. Expressing people's gratitude - "Thanks to the Soviet troops who liberated Port Arthur from the enslavement of Japanese imperialism."
