Mengding Mountain, the "Hometown of Immortal Tea", is known as the holy mountain of tea culture in the world. Wu Lizhen, the tea ancestor of the Western Han Dynasty (53 BC), pioneered the cultivation of tea trees here. From the Tang Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty, tea specially used by the central court to pray to heaven and worship ancestors originated from the emperor. Tea gardens, the middle water of the Yangtze River, and "tea on the top of Mount Meng" have attracted hundreds of millions of tea drinkers. The Buddhist scriptures "Mengshan Food Rituals" and "Mengshan Bird's Tongue Tea" all originated from here. China's tea scriptures are spread all over the Silk Road and the Ancient Tea Horse Road. Mengding Mountain is located in Mingshan County, Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, also known as Mengshan Mountain. The mountain is about 10 kilometers long. The highest peak is Shangqingfeng, with an altitude of 1,456 meters. The annual rainfall here reaches more than 2,000 millimeters. It was called "Western Sichuan" in ancient times. According to the saying, Mengshan’s name also comes from the year-round clouds, mist, and misty rain.
