Scenic spot introduction:

The Independence Monument Square in Phnom Penh was built to commemorate Cambodia's independence from French colonial rule on November 9, 1953. Every year on Independence Day, the Cambodian king or his representatives hold a grand celebration here, and many visiting foreign heads of state also come here to lay wreaths.

The Independence Monument Square has beautiful scenery. The seven-headed snake god on the memorial tower is quite elegant. There are also portraits of kings, buildings and other landscapes in the surrounding area. The night view of the square is also worth seeing.
