Scenic spot introduction:

Qiqihar Mahayana Temple, also known as the Great Buddha Temple, was built in 1939 by Kong Yushu, the director of Heilongjiang Five Religions Moral Academy. It is the monastery where Zen Master Rufa, the 44th successor of Tiantai Sect, lived. Therefore, Mahayana Temple is called the ancestral court of Tiantai Sect in the north. Inside and outside the temple, there are towering ancient trees and an elegant environment. Although it was built in modern times, it is unique because of its traditional ancient architectural form.
