Linzhang Gate is one of the seven major city gates in Quanzhou. It is located at the round intersection of Xinmen Street, Chengxi Road, Sunjiang Road and Jiangbin Road in Quanzhou City. It was first built in the Southern Tang Dynasty (about 950) and has been built and abandoned several times. , was extensively repaired in the 15th year of Shunzhi (1658) of the Qing Dynasty, and rebuilt in 2003 according to the old system of the Qing Dynasty. The tower is a unique wooden structure form of ancient architecture in southern Fujian, reflecting the inheritance of ancient construction techniques.
