Scenic spot introduction:

Yuanmiao Temple, commonly known as "Tiangong Temple", is the first Taoist temple built after Taoism was introduced to Quanzhou, and also the first Taoist temple after Taoism was introduced to Fujian. Located at Xinfukou, East Street, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, it was first built in the Taikang period of the Western Jin Dynasty (280-289). It was originally called Baiyun Temple. In the first year of Tang Shenlong (705), it was changed to Zhongxing Temple, and soon it was changed to Longxing Temple. During the Xiangfu period of Dazhong in the Song Dynasty (1008-1016), it was renamed Tianqingguan, and in the first year of Yuanzhen (1295), it was renamed Xuanmiaoguan. In the Qing Dynasty, it was renamed Yuanmiaoguan to avoid the name taboo of Emperor Kangxi Xuanye. The main buildings along the central axis of the restored Yuanmiao Temple are composed of Sanqing Hall, Lingxiao Hall and Lingguan Hall.
