Ruian Huayan National Forest Park is famous for its dense forests and Bitan Silver Waterfall. It is my country's first forest tourism experimental demonstration area and a typical representative of the beautiful mountains and rivers in southern Zhejiang. Huayan integrates good vegetation, excellent water quality, unique waterfalls and rare wild animals and plants, and is known as the animal world and plant kingdom. Especially the waterfall, with its different style and splashing jade, brings a bit of coolness to the hot summer. The shadows of monkeys appear in front of the eyes from time to time, and the sound of birds is heard constantly. Huayan National Forest Park is located in the northeast of Zhailiaoxi Scenic Area in western Ruian, with a total area of 10.63 square kilometers. The park is covered with evergreen secondary broad-leaved forests and is home to the largest group of wild macaques in Wenzhou City. The most famous landscape is undoubtedly the Nine Pools, namely the Ancient Bell Pool, Longjing Pool, Feilong Pool, Bronze Mirror Pool, Jade Ping Pool, Xixin Pool, Pipa Pool, Splashing Jade Pool and Nine Dragon Pool. In the Jiulong River and the Jiaolong Valley, there are many strange rocks, which are lifelike. Huayan Forest Park is part of Zhailiaoxi Scenic Area and can be visited for 2 hours. It is recommended that tourists who have time can stay here for a day and visit the other three small scenic spots in Zhailiao River to completely relax and feel the nature.
The air humidity in the scenic area is relatively high and the steps are slippery, so be careful. In addition to wearing non-slip shoes, it is best to bring a hiking pole, which can prevent slipping and protect your knees from wear and tear when going down the mountain.

How to get there:
Bus route: Take the long-distance bus from Ruian to the tall building, get off and transfer to a local taxi or rickshaw.
Self-driving route: Depart from the city and drive towards Yongtaiwen. Exit the Shenhai Expressway at Feiyun Exit and turn onto S330 → S230 → Wuhong Line to reach the gate of the scenic spot.
