The former site of the Xiaohe Conference in Jingbian, Shaanxi was the place where Chairman Mao Zedong lived twice when he led the central government to move to northern Shaanxi. An enlarged meeting of the Front Committee of the CPC Central Committee was held here, known in history as the "Xiaohe Conference". The Xiaohe Conference was an important meeting at a turning point in the War of Liberation.
