Travel: There are hot springs in Tangtou Village, Wangzhuangbao Town, near Hengshan Mountain, which have good effects on skin diseases, diabetes, arthritis, rheumatism, etc.
Looking south from the Mount Everest of Hengshan Mountain, you can see the loess terraces, which gives people a visual enjoyment.
Accommodation: Accommodation is generally not required when visiting Hengshan. If you need accommodation, there is a hotel next to the parking lot, or you can choose to stay in a local farmer's home. The accommodation conditions at the owner of Hengxing Hotel next to the parking lot are okay, and the room is relatively spacious, usually costing 10 yuan a night.
Eat: Hunyuan jelly (a special food of Hengshan with unique flavor), broad beans (commonly known as lotus beans), etc. are all local specialties.

Tour route:
One-day trip to Hengshan: Hengshan → Hanging Temple → Chengguan attractions. In the morning, we will visit Hengshan Temple Group and Hengshan Parking Lot for lunch; at noon, we will visit Xuankong Temple; in the afternoon, we will visit the back mountain of Hengshan Mountain and the Yongan Temple, Yuanjue Temple and Li Yumei Tomb in the county.
Two-day tour of Hengshan:
Day 1: Visit Hengshan Temple Group in the morning → Lunch at Hengshan Parking Lot, visit Yunfeng Temple at noon, bathe in Tangtou Hot Spring in the afternoon, and stay in a hot spring sanatorium overnight;

How to get there:
First take a long-distance bus from Datong to Hunyuan County, then take a minibus from Hunyuan County (the fare is about 2 yuan, a taxi is 20 yuan) to the front line of Hengshan (Wangyue Pavilion parking lot) or the back line (Beiyue Palace) , or go to Hanging Temple first. You can also take a one-day tour bus to Hengshan.
Tip: There is no bus directly to Xuankong Temple in Hunyuan County. You can only go there by private car, which costs 5 yuan.
