The Qujia Courtyard in Shanxi was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. The Qu family was the richest man in Qi County and a representative of Shanxi merchants in the Qing Dynasty. Almost all the land in the east of Qi County was the real estate of the Qu family, so it was also known as "Qu Half City" " known as. The whole courtyard is grand and solemn, tall and majestic, and has a formidable atmosphere. It is a rare five-entry courtyard in the country. The Minglou Courtyard, Tonglou Courtyard, Railing Courtyard and Stage Courtyard are cleverly combined and well-proportioned. Hanging tops, resting tops, rolled roofs, and hard tops have different forms, with clear priorities. The courtyard has a castle layout on the outside, with crenellated parapets on the top of the walls. It is divided into 8 large courtyards and 19 small quadrangle courtyards, with a total of 240 houses, covering an area of ​​5,317 square meters. The courtyards are connected by archways and halls, forming a wonderful pattern of courtyards within courtyards and doors connected to each other.
