Scenic spot introduction:

Shanxi Zhangbi Ancient Castle is a relatively complete ancient miniature "castle" in my country that integrates military, residential, production and religious activities. It contains ancient cultural sites of Xia and Shang Dynasties, tunnels of Sui and Tang Dynasties, tombs of Jin Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty. Many cultural relics and historic sites such as the stage of the Dynasty and the folk houses of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, especially the tunnels of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the Liuwu Zhou Temple, and the glazed stele are rare in the country and unique to Zhangbi. The ancient castle is located in the southeast of the Jiexiu Basin. It is in a steep area with ravines on three sides and a plain on one side. It is difficult to attack and easy to defend. There is also a 9,000-meter-long ancient tunnel with four floors underground, and a fortress is built on the ground to build a city and hide soldiers. On both sides of the "Dragon's Back Street" made of red stones in the fort, there are five temple complexes built in an orderly manner. Zhangbi Town, which has a long history, can be called a thick history book. It was one of the "Top Ten Charming Towns in China" selected by CCTV's "Charming China" series in 2005.
