Shaowu Folklore Museum is the first professional museum in Fujian to exhibit local folklore. The whole museum is located in Zhongshu Di of the Ming Dynasty and a folk residence in the Qing Dynasty. It covers an area of ​​more than 2,000 square meters and is divided into five halls and 36 exhibition rooms on the third floor. More than 2,000 cultural relics are displayed indoors, including wedding customs, old age customs, clothing, living and production equipment, folk art, social culture, festival customs, etc., which focus on reproducing the inherent traditional life culture of the Shaowu area in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. At the same time, 35 statues are displayed inside. The wax figures of people from the Ming and Qing Dynasties intuitively show the production and life scenes at that time.
