The name of the Xibo family temple is Taiping Temple. It is a lamasery funded by the Xibo people. It was first built in 1707 (the 46th year of Kangxi), expanded in 1752 (the 17th year of Qianlong), and later expanded by the 41st year of Qianlong. In the eighth year of Jiaqing and the twenty-eighth year of Guangxu, the temple was expanded and improved day by day. Taiping Temple faces south from the north, with a rigorous layout and majestic appearance. It is located at No. 21, Taiping Lane, Huangsi Road, Heping District, Shenyang City, where the Shenyang Imperial Temple Temple Church is located. There is a Xibo cultural exhibition in the temple.

Westward Migration Festival: In the 29th year of Qianlong (1764), in order to strengthen the border defense force of Ili, Xinjiang, the imperial court dispatched 1,016 Xibe officers and soldiers to Ili to guard the border. On April 18th of the lunar calendar that year, more than 1,000 border guards, their families and fellow villagers gathered at Taiping Temple in Shengjing to kill sheep to sacrifice to their ancestors and gods and pray for a safe journey. Since then, the Xibe compatriots have regarded April 18th of the lunar calendar as the "Westward Migration Festival". The Xibo family temple has a meeting head, which is managed by the tribesmen. Sacrifices are held every new year, and the 18th day of the fourth lunar month is the most solemn.
