Scenic spot introduction:

The Kotnis Memorial Hall is located at the Bethune International Peace Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army in Shijiazhuang City, on the west side of the Bethune Memorial Hall. The architectural form is a rectangular hall structure. The memorial hall began preparations in 1975 and was officially opened on December 9, 1976, the 30th anniversary of Dr. Kotnis.

The exhibition hall of Kotnis Memorial Hall covers an area of ​​518 square meters, and the hall logo is inscribed by Ye Jianying. Ye Jianying, Deng Xiaoping, Nie Rongzhen, Xu Xiangqian and others wrote inscriptions for the Kotnis Memorial Hall. The exhibition hall displays inscriptions, letters, articles written by Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Zhou Enlai, and Nie Rongzhen in memory of Kotnis, as well as pictures of Ye Jianying visiting India and visiting Kotnis' home. Cultural relics, pictures, and souvenirs donated by the All-India Commemoration Committee of Kotnis and Kotnis' relatives and friends during his lifetime, including Meng Kesh, Guo Qinglan, and Basu, are also displayed in the exhibition. The exhibition hall also displays Kotnis's historical pictures, objects, letters, paintings, sculptures and other artworks in China. Artists from all over the country such as Zhou Sicong, Liu Boshu, Situ Jie, Qian Shaowu, Tang Xiaoming, Chen Xining and others have left exquisite works for the memorial hall.
