Scenic spot introduction:

The main temple of Songpanchuan is a temple that believes in Bon religion and was also a temple that survived during the "Cultural Revolution". Bon religion is the oldest religious belief in Tibetan areas and the source of China's Tibetan traditional culture and Tibetan Buddhism. It is a treasure presented to the world by the people of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and a valuable spiritual wealth worthy of the Tibetan people's pride. At its peak, the temple had 86 temples, housing 2,018 large and small clay Bodhisattvas, 1,025 bronze Bodhisattvas, 350 thangkas, 3,250 scriptures, 2 stupas, and 524 large and small prayer wheels. It was extremely majestic.

Attractions distribution:

Chuanzhu Temple is located next to the Chuanzhu Temple Town Government in Songpan, close to Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong and other scenic spots. There is only one main hall left in the temple, with prayer wheels and prayer corridors outside. Believers come here to worship every day.

How to get there:

Bus route: You can take long-distance buses directly to Chuanzhusi Town in Chengdu, Dujiangyan, Wenchuan, Maoxian and other places.

Self-driving route: Drive G213 towards Songpan. After arriving at Chuanzhusi Town, just follow Chuanlang Highway or Nima Road.
