Scenic spot introduction:

Jiuding Longquan Temple in Tieling City is the largest religious building complex in northern Liaoning. It was built in the Ming Dynasty and has a history of 400 years. The temple is located in the back mountain city of Majiazhai Township, surrounded by mountains and with beautiful scenery. It was expanded three times during the period and was changed to Majiazhai Township Middle School during the Cultural Revolution. In 2006, after coordinated operations by various departments, the school was moved out of its new location, and Master Shi Tongjing took over the restoration of Longquan Temple, giving it its current grand appearance.

Jiuding Longquan Temple is large in scale and has a three-entry courtyard layout. The first entrance is from the mountain gate of Kuixing Tower. In the courtyard, there are the City God Temple, the Che Temple, the Road Temple, the Fire Temple, the Tai Sui Temple, the Dharma Protector Hall, the Grand Stage, the Life Release Pond, the Dragon Sculpture, etc.; you can enter from the Tianwang Temple The second entrance to the courtyard contains the Main Hall, Guanyin Hall, Guest Hall, Zhaitang, Jialan Hall, Bell and Drum Tower, and Monk Residence. From the Main Hall to the back, you can enter the third entrance courtyard, which contains the Sutra Library, the God of Wealth Hall, the Ten Wheel Hall, and the Hongguang Hall. Master’s Hall, Shandao Master’s Hall and Patriarch’s Hall. Jiuding Longquan Temple has complete buildings and complete facilities. With the approval of the Provincial Religious Affairs Bureau, it was upgraded from a fixed religious site to a temple. It is a unique religious tourism scenic spot in northern Liaoning.
