Scenic spot introduction:
Tieling Lianhua Lake Wetland is an artificial wetland with the largest water purification project area (67.68 hectares) in China. The water surface of Lianhua Lake was very broad in history. It is said to be "five lakes and eight pits". It is adjacent to Liaohe River in the west, Chaihe River in the north, and Fan in the south. The river, including Deshengtai Reservoir, Wujiahu Lake, Dalianhuapao Reservoir and China-North Korea Friendship Reservoir, was once a swamp wetland type with a total drainage area of 200 square kilometers. Since 2007, Tieling City has launched a pilot project for the Lianhua Lake National Wetland Park to restore the wetland ecosystem that was damaged by farmland reclamation and urban sewage.Attractions distribution:
Today's Lianhua Lake Wetland Park receives 50,000 tons of sewage discharged from urban sewage treatment plants every day. The core area landscape project includes lake expansion and embankment projects and garden landscape projects. The newly built wetland and Lianhua Lake embankment are 11.37 kilometers long, forming the Lianhua Lake There are 3 islands in the center of the lake and one peninsula; 7 waterfront platforms, 5 landscape pavilions, and a 300-meter wooden trestle have been completed.
