Scenic spot introduction:

Caesarea is located more than 50 kilometers north of Tel Aviv. It was once Israel's largest port in the Mediterranean. It was the capital of Herod, the monarch of the Roman Empire, who spent 12 years building it more than 2,000 years ago. It was also the capital of his debauchery. The paradise of limitlessness. The architecture here is a combination of Roman and Greek styles according to King Herod's preferences, which is extremely luxurious and magnificent. In 639 AD, Caesarea was occupied by the Arabs, and in 1101 it fell to the Crusaders. In 1254, King Louis IX of France rebuilt fortifications here and built a Crusader castle. After several wars and earthquakes, most of the buildings in Caesarea were damaged and sank to the bottom of the sea. Caesarea has since been lost in the silent loess. At the end of the 19th century, archaeological excavations began in Caesarea, and Herod's ancient city and Crusader fortress were rediscovered and turned into a national park.
