Guanghua Temple in Nanshan, Putian, Fujian, is listed as one of the three model forests in the country. It is green with pines and cypresses, with singing mountain springs and quiet tranquility. It is said that thousands of years ago, the surging water from the East China Sea surged up to the foot of Nanshan Mountain. The flowing clouds and clouds complemented the green pines and cypresses, forming an extremely vivid picture, so it is known as the "Nanshan Pines and Cypresses" scenery. Guanghua Temple is located three kilometers southwest of Putian, close to Nanhu Park and Phoenix Mountain, covering an area of ​​32,000 square meters. The temple rises naturally along the mountain. On the central axis facing eastward, there are screen walls, archways, mountain gates, release pools, Tianwang Hall (Maitreya Hall), Main Hall, Dharma Hall (the Sutra Pavilion on top), and the Reclining Buddha Hall (lower). At the same time, Guanghua Temple also retains a large number of cultural relics and historic sites, including the Sakyamuni Buddha Pagoda, the former site of the "Dongfeng Book Hall", a pair of stone scripture pillars engraved with "The Supreme Dharani on the Top of the Buddha", and the authentic works of Wen Tianxiang, etc.
