Sun Shuao Memorial Hall in Shouxian County, also known as Sun Gong Temple, was built by the ancients to commemorate Sun Shuao, Prime Minister of Chu, who built the thousand-year water conservancy project Anfengtang (i.e. Shaopei). The memorial hall contains more than 20 ancient inscriptions from past dynasties and a biography of Sun Shuao. It is an important historical material for studying the history of water conservancy in Anfengtang and the life of Sun Shuao. It is also a good place for people to visit ancient times and find peace.

Attractions distribution:

The Sun Shuao Memorial Hall is located on the north bank of Anfeng Pond, the "No. 1 Pond in China", covering an area of 2,576 square meters. There are ancient buildings in the scenic area such as the Shanmen, Huanqing Pavilion, main hall, east and west side halls, stele gallery, etc. There are many brick carvings and other ancient monuments scattered in the courtyard. There are many exhibits in each hall, including the Sun Shuao Holy Relics Exhibition, Shaopi Historical Relics and temporary special exhibitions.

How to get there:

Bus route: Take a long-distance bus to Shouxian County. There is a tourist shuttle bus from the ancient city scenic area to Anfengtang.

Self-driving route: Hehuai-Fu Expressway, from Fengtai intersection in Shouxian County, passing through Shouchun Town, Yaokou, Shizilu and other towns in Shouxian County to Tianxia No. 1 Tang.
