The Memorial Hall of the Birthplace of Zhang Xueliang in Taian is the place where the young marshal Zhang Xueliang of the Republic of China was born and lived in his childhood. In 1900, Zhang Zuolin set up a self-defense security force at Zhongyao Fort. In 1901, he was attacked by the bandit leader Jin Shoushan and only eight people were left. They fled to Taiwan, Liaoning Province. Zhangjiawobao Village, Ejia Village, Jiujian Township, An County (formerly known as Zhanjiawopu, Sangzilin), Zhang Xueliang was born here on June 4, 1901, and spent most of his childhood.

Zhang Xueliang’s Birthplace Memorial Hall covers an area of ​​600 square meters. The main building is four blue brick buildings with three exhibition rooms: the second and third exhibition rooms introduce Zhang Xueliang’s life, including physical objects and photos. In 1993, it was listed as a municipal cultural relic protection unit and one of the first batch of patriotic education bases by the Anshan Municipal People's Government.
