Ancient Wudang Mountain is a historical mountain of Taoism and is the famous northern Wudang Mountain sought by the domestic Taoist circles. It is located deep in the Taihang Mountains northwest of Wu'an City, 70 kilometers away from Handan City. There is an ancient stele from the Tang Dynasty on the top of the mountain with the words "Ancient Wudang Mountain" on it, which testifies to its historical status.Attractions distribution:
There are six major scenic spots and 36 scenic spots in ancient Wudang Mountain: Xiamiao Huanshan Road Scenic Area, Sanfeng City Scenic Area, Nantianmen Scenic Area, Peak Scenic Area, Linhai Park Scenic Area and Xishan Scenic Area. 1. The "Ancient Wudang Mountain Tourism Culture Festival" is held from July to August every year. During the period, there are three performances every day on weekdays. The performance times are 10:30-11:30, 12:30-13:30, and 14:30-15: 30; There are four performances every day on weekends, the performance times are 9:30～10:30, 10:50～11:50, 13:00～14:00, 14:30～15:30. The performances include folk dances, duet folk songs, bamboo pole dances, unique stunts, etc.
2. During the Spring Festival, the "First Moon Temple Fair in Ancient Wudang Mountain Scenic Area" will be held. While touring the natural scenery of ancient Wudang Mountain, you can also enjoy folk songs and dances with local characteristics.
3. The "Ancient Wudang Mountain Peach Blossom Festival" is held in early spring. The theme is different every year, and special teams are invited to perform.
