Xianju Nanfeng Tower Travel Guide

Scenic spot introduction:

Xianju Nanfeng Tower is located on Nanfeng Mountain 300 meters south of Xianju County. It was built by Guo Yongzhong, a native of Yi, in September from the tenth year of Tiansheng (1032) to the second year of Mingdao (1033) in the Northern Song Dynasty. It has six sides and seven floors, imitating a loft-style brick tower and being hollow. It is 23.8 meters high and 2.07 meters wide on each side of the legs. Each floor is composed of a flat seat, a main body, and waist eaves. The inner wall has foot sockets cut out from bottom to top for climbing. There are gates on the southeast and northwest sides, and gate-style niches on the remaining four sides.
