Scenic spot introduction:

Xishuangbanna Manmaisangkang Scenic Area is currently the only scenic spot in Xishuangbanna that displays Dai folk customs on the water. Its colorful cultural content and beautiful natural scenery constitute a charming humanistic painting. Manmaisangkang means "festival village" in Dai language. The scenic spot is based on the historical space of the Dai people as the background, with the blue sky and white clouds as the curtain, the vast green mountains and green waters as the stage, and the vivid and rich ethnic flavor and customs as the display content. An original performance team of 500 people will recreate the folk culture of Xishuangbanna Water Splashing Festival for tourists.

Manmaisangkang Scenic Area is located in Manmaisangkang Village, Jinghong City, more than 40 kilometers away from Jinghong urban area. The scenic spot is composed of Jinhu Lake and Silver Lake. There are folk activities such as dragon boat racing, high-flying, swinging, and water splashing. You can also taste the most famous Dai people's grilled fish, Minosuo (rice cake), glutinous rice, and glutinous tea.
