Shangli Ancient Town in Ya'an was an important stop on the ancient Linqiong Road of the Southern Silk Road entering Ya'an in history. How to get there:
Bus route: Take the bus from Chengdu to Ya'an from Shiyangchang Bus Station to Ya'an Ximen Station, and then transfer to the shuttle bus directly to Shangli, or take a taxi or chartered car.
Self-driving route: Starting from Chengdu, take the Chengya Expressway, get off at the Ya'an North Exit, and go through Xiali, Zhongli to Shangli; or take Wenqiong Road to Qionglai, first visit Pingle Ancient Town and Jia'an Pass the ancient town, then go up the mountain to Baima Spring.
