Yongji Tang Tieniu Museum Travel Guide

Scenic spot introduction:

The Yongji Tang Tieniu Museum preserves the historically famous Tang Kaiyuan Tieniu. The Tieniu was unearthed in August 1989. It was once an attachment used to fix the pontoon on the Pujin Bridge, the ancient Yellow River ferry bridge. After the Yellow River changed its course, the Tieniu submerged into the water and disappeared quietly. The museum is located on the east bank of the Yellow River outside the west gate of Puzhou Ancient City, Yongji City, Yuncheng, Shanxi. Today, the arrangement of the iron oxen is still as listed at the front bridge head, divided into two groups in the north and south, one group of two oxen, arranged front and back, with the oxen facing west. Visitors can appreciate the style of the bridge construction project during the heyday of the Tang Dynasty.
