Scenic spot introduction:
Qingyang Ancient Village is the birthplace of the Mao family in the south of the Yangtze River and the ancestral home of Mao Zedong. It is located at the foot of Jianglang Mountain in the south of Shimen Town, Jiangshan City, Zhejiang Province. Hundreds of families in the village have the surname Mao. This is also the ancestral home of Fenghua Chiang Kai-shek’s first wife Mao Fumei and Mao Yanwen, the wife of Xiong Xiling, the first prime minister of the Republic of China. It has a history of 1,500 years since Qingyang Gong Mao Yuanqiong, the eighth generation ancestor of the Jiangnan Mao family, moved here. Qingyang Village is also called Qinglongtou. The village is surrounded by mountains on three sides to the north, east and south. The lush green mountains are winding and twisting like a green dragon. On the west side there are thousands of fields and the village is like a pearl. The entire geographical environment forms a tourist attraction. Qingyang Village ticket price:
50 yuan. Tour guides, active military personnel, disabled revolutionary servicemen, families of martyrs, reporters, and senior citizens over 70 years old can enjoy free admission with valid documents. Children with a height of 1.2 to 1.5 meters, disabled people, senior citizens aged 60 to 70, and primary and secondary school students can purchase tickets at half price with valid documents.
