Introduction to the Zhennanguan Uprising Site: The Zhennanguan Uprising Site is also known as the Second Fort of Youfu Mountain. It is located on Youfu Mountain on the right side of Youyi Pass (Youyi Pass was formerly known as Zhennanguan). The fort was built by Su Yuanchun, the Qing border commander, from 1887 to 1892. It is divided into three platforms: the south of the town, the middle of the town, and the north of the town. They are built of bricks and stones, with vaults inside. They are divided into upper, middle and lower floors, as well as front and rear halls, warehouses, passages, etc. The fort is equipped with 7 German Baruch cannons. The second fort is at the horns of each other. It is 590 meters above sea level and surrounded by steep walls. It is a commanding and majestic situation. There is a monument inscribed on the platform in the middle of the town.
In December 1907, Sun Yat-sen sent Huang Mingtang and Guan Renfu to Zhennanguan to plan an uprising, contact the Qing army as internal support, and occupy Youfu Mountain.
