Introduction to the Oriental Pearl Tower: The Oriental Pearl Radio and Television Tower, also known as the Oriental Pearl Tower, is 467.9 meters tall. It is the third tallest tower in Asia and the fifth tallest tower in the world, second only to Tokyo Sky Tree TV Tower (634 meters) in Japan and Guangzhou New TV. Tower (600 meters), Canada's CN TV Tower (553.3 meters) and Russia's Ostankino TV Tower (540.1 meters), are one of the landmarks of Shanghai. It is located in Lujiazui, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, China, adjacent to the Huangpu River and across the river from the Bund, where the Shanghai International News Center is located.
