Introduction to the Tomb of Political Commissar Bao: Political Commissar Bao (? - 1935), was the political commissar of the 2nd Battalion, 274th Regiment, 31st Army, 91st Division, Fourth Front Army of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army. On April 2, 1935, he fought in the bloody battle of Jianmen Pass. He died heroically together with his correspondent and was buried here together. The original tomb was just an earthen mound. In September 2010, Jiange County renovated the original earthen mound into what it looks like today.
