Introduction to the Jiang Wei Statue: On the cliff at the Jianmen Pass, there stands a giant human head. The locals call it the Jiang Wei Statue, also known as the warrior head. The statue wears a helmet, a tall nose, big eyes, bulging eyebrows, thick lips, a solemn expression and extraordinary bearing. On the lower right side of the statue, there is a monkey squatting. The monkey is facing the Xiongguan Pass, staring at it with a murderous aura. That stone statue is said to be the divine general who stayed to guard the Jianmen Pass when Wuding opened the mountain. Some people also say that it is the incarnation of Jiang Wei after his death. Legend has it that the stone monkey is the monkey king on Jianmen Mountain. To this day, monkeys on Jianmen Mountain often come to worship at the feet of the monkey king.
