Introduction to the Shuanghe Site: The Shuanghe Site is located in Mancheng Village, Jiezi Ancient Town, Chongzhou City. It dates back about 4,300 years and is the ancient birthplace of Chengdu.
The site covers an area of ​​about 200,000 square meters, with a rectangular plan shape. The city wall is divided into two layers, the inner and outer layers, in the shape of "Hui". Five ash pits have been cleared from the ruins of the ancient city, one is a pile of red-burnt soil, and there are also accumulations of cultural layers from that time. The unearthed cultural relics include pottery, stone tools, bone tools, and relatively complete ritual vessels that were used by people at that time. There are more than 30 production tools, such as pottery spinning wheels, axes, chisels, etc. This site was among the top ten archaeological discoveries in the country in 2001!
