Introduction to Ruilong Bridge: Ruilong Bridge was built during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. It was originally a cable bridge with bridge towers at both ends and pavilions on the middle pier, so it was named "Ruilong Bridge". After 1953, it was destroyed twice by severe floods and rebuilt twice. In 1963, due to the long-term erosion of the bridge timbers, the bridge collapsed under the weight of vehicles. In 1964, it was rebuilt as an asphalt highway bridge and renamed Jiezi Bridge. It has been in use to this day and has withstood the test of the "5.12" Wenchuan magnitude 8 earthquake. In 2009, the bridge was rebuilt into a wind and rain covered bridge, still named "Ruilong Bridge".
