Introduction to Caotang Temple: Caotang Temple is located to the east of Du Fu Thatched Cottage. It is a thousand-year-old temple that was founded in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Caotang Temple, Chengdu Wenshu Monastery, Zhaojue Temple and Baoguang Temple are also known as the "Four Jinglan". Today's Caotang Temple (Fan'an Temple) was rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. The entire building complex is still well preserved, including the mountain gate (the south gate of today's Caotang). There are five main buildings, namely the Heavenly King's Hall, the Main Hall, the Ordination Hall and the Sutra Collection Building.
