Looking at it, Yunhe Terraces is like a beauty from all four seasons: in spring, she wears floral clothes and is covered with water; in summer, she wears green gauze and the waves of the sea; in autumn, she wears red clothes, and the mountains are covered with golden ears; in winter, she wears silver fur and is dressed plainly with snow blankets. Yunhe Terraces is located in Chongtou Town, Yunhe County, in the middle of Lishui, with a total area of 51 square kilometers. The scenic spot is mainly divided into two parts: Jiuqu Cloud Ring and Baiyin Valley: Jiuqu Cloud Ring is relatively small, with two viewing platforms: "Sunrise Cloud Sea" and "Heavenly Sound of Clouds"; Baiyin Valley is an ancient village with ancient dwellings. Buildings, old eye wells, streams, waterfalls, mining relics, crane towers, etc. The Qixingdun at the highest point has an observation deck and restaurant. 1. During holidays, tickets include performance viewing. The time periods are 9:00-11:30 in the morning and 13:00-16:00 in the afternoon. Each show is 15 minutes apart.
2. There are two highways shortly after passing the ticket office. Turn left to Silver Valley, and turn to the right to Jiuqu Cloud Ring. However, the battery cars in the scenic area are only for tour groups. Individual tourists can either drive themselves or take a shuttle bus to the vicinity of Jiuqu Yunhuan, and walk the rest of the way. Walking between the two areas can be tiring, but it is more convenient to drive by car. You can drive directly to the observation deck where there is a parking lot (20 yuan/car).
The Jiuqu Cloud Ring is relatively small and has two viewing platforms: "Sunrise Cloud Sea" and "Tianlai Yunhe". Among them, "Sunrise Cloud Sea" is suitable for watching the sunrise and has a good view of the sea of clouds. However, in comparison, the Silver Valley opposite is more popular among tourists and photography enthusiasts.
It takes about an hour to walk from Jiuqu Yunhuan to Baiyin Valley. Baiyin Valley used to be a silver mine. In addition to the terraces, there are also some relics left by the mining industry. The highest Qixingdun (about 1100 meters above sea level) is There are the most spectacular and open scenes of clouds and terraced fields. When the weather is fine, there will be many people here waiting for the sunrise. Therefore, we usually go to Jiuqu Yunhuan in the afternoon, then go to Baiyin Valley, and stay one night at a farmhouse near Qixingdun (Meizhu Village) in the scenic area, so that we can watch the sunrise early the next morning. Because there are not many lights here, the starry sky at night is also very beautiful. Yunding Fanghe Farmhouse has a good reputation among self-guided travelers.
Go down the mountain from the trail on the left side of Qixingdun. There are waterfalls along the way. It takes about an hour to reach Genkeng Shizhai at the foot of the mountain. The village is quite old, with some old yellow stone houses and a few scattered grocery stores. It doesn't have much commercial significance. As soon as you enter the village, there is an old spring well, which was left behind when the silver mine was mined. There is a Yinguan Bridge on the creek at the entrance of the village, which was also built by the mining industry. You can stroll around and take pictures here.

How to get there:
Bus route: Yunhe County → Yunhe Passenger Terminal → 10 → Bus (the shuttle bus from Yunhe to Zhangjiadi runs from 6:30 to 17:00, every hour).
Self-driving route: Get off at the expressway entrance and drive along Provincial Highway 53 to the fork in the direction of Longquan. Follow the signs for Yunhe Terraces Scenic Area and go straight.
