Introduction to the Sutra Collection Building: The Sutra Collection Building is the largest hall in the temple, with a height of 17 meters, a width of 40 meters, and a depth of 18 meters. It is all supported by stone pillars. It is one of the outstanding buildings of the temple. It was built during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. Built by Monk Miao Sheng. The upper floor is the Sutra Collection Building, which stores 43 volumes of the Dunhuang Sutra, 22 volumes of the Fangshan Stone Sutra, one each of the Northern Sutra and the Pinga Sutra, a total of 728 volumes, 7,280 roll. There is a statue of the Thousand-Armed Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva in the hall. There are portraits of the heavens on the four walls. The paintings are exquisite and fully reflect the artistic style of the Qing Dynasty. Downstairs of the Sutra Collection Building is the Dharma Hall, where the abbots of past dynasties have preached their sermons.
