Introduction to the mountain gate: According to legend, Qingyang Palace began in the Zhou Dynasty and was originally named Qingyang Si. After many name changes during the Three Kingdoms, Five Dynasties, and Tang Dynasties, it was finally adopted as "Qingyang Palace" in the Song Dynasty until today. The mountain gate was originally built in the Ming Dynasty. There are two dragons playing with spiritual beads on the top of the newly built mountain gate hall. The plaque is written by An Hongde, the magistrate of Huayang County in Chengdu during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty.
