Introduction to Turpan Museum: The Turpan Museum has a very rich collection and is the second largest museum in Xinjiang after the Autonomous Region Museum. There are more than 5,000 cultural relics in the collection, including nearly 100 first-class cultural relics. More than 80% of the cultural relics collected in the autonomous region museum from the Western Han Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty, that is, the period when the Silk Road flourished for more than 1,000 years, come from Turpan. Turpan Museum is located on the west side of the busiest Gaochang Road in Turpan City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It was built in 1989. The whole museum is divided into a reception hall, Turpan unearthed cultural relics exhibition hall, ancient corpse exhibition hall, giant rhinoceros exhibition hall, and exhibition hall according to different needs. warehouse and many other parts.
