Introduction to the Stone Buddha: The stone Buddha is carved in the middle of the huge rock cliff, with a palace-style Buddhist niche embossed on the outer edge, 7 meters high and 16 meters wide; the stone Buddhas are 6 meters high and 3 meters wide. In the middle, Amitabha holds a conch on his head, with two ears hanging down from the shoulders. He is wearing a robe and revealing his breasts. The Buddha's name "Swastika" is engraved on his chest. A rosary is tied around his waist. His hands are folded and placed on his legs, with his toes not exposed. On the left, Guanyin wears a flower crown and holds a purification bottle. On the right side, he is wearing a flower crown with clouds on his head and holding a sutra scroll in his hand. On both sides of Amitabha's back, there are relief sculptures of a pair of flying dragons hovering on two pillars. The dragon heads hold up the protruding arches to support the eaves, forming a niche-like inner wall. The three stone Buddhas are exquisitely carved, exquisitely conceived, accurate in proportion and lifelike in image. They are works of the Song Dynasty that inherited the stone carving art style of the Tang Dynasty. Although the statue has experienced more than 800 years of vicissitudes, it is still pure and fresh. It is a rare grotto sculpture in Quannan and a treasure for studying the stone carving art of the Song Dynasty.
