Introduction to Buddha statues: The stone Buddha was advocated by Chen Hongjin of the Five Dynasties. It is 4.5 meters high and 1.5 meters wide. It sits cross-legged on a rosette with bare chest and smooth and symmetrical clothing patterns. It is the earliest stone sculpture in Quanzhou.
