There are 1,008 sculptured hands on both sides of the Buddha's body, like two wings, arranged in a well-proportioned manner with different postures. Each hand wears a bracelet, with an eye carved in the palm, or a scroll or a magic weapon. The carving is exquisite. The whole body of the Buddha statue is covered with pure gold foil.
