Introduction to Bidian Danchi: The large stone inkstone, a Ming Dynasty monument in front of the gate of the Prime Minister's Ancestral Hall, was also restored during the restoration of the Prime Minister's Ancestral Hall. The giant inkstone has a diameter of 4.3 meters. The edge of the inkstone is engraved with auspicious patterns such as two dragons grabbing treasures, fish in the year of lotus, etc. It is carved from a native boulder. In those days, the sky was clear and cloudless, and water accumulated in the inkstone. The white pagoda on the east mountain, the black pagoda on the Qixing Mountain on the south bank, and the Jiuzhou pagoda on the edge of the Minjiang River were reflected in the inkstone, like a pen dipping in ink. They were known as the "Bi Dian Dan Pond". One of the eight ancient sights in Yibin, later generations called it "Inkstone".
