Introduction to the National Nature Reserve: The Leigong Mountain National Nature Reserve in Guizhou has a total area of 47,300 hectares and mainly protects rare organisms such as Taiwanese fir. The protected area has not been invaded by Quaternary glaciers in history and has become a refuge for many ancient relics and contains rich biological resources. Leigong Mountain is one of the areas with better preserved vegetation in Guizhou Province. It is also an important area with relatively rich forest and plant resources in China's mid-subtropical zone and a large number of rare animal and plant resources. There are 11 main forest community types. Among them, the main types of protection include bald fir forests, various types of evergreen broad-leaved forests, mid-mountain evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved mixed forests, aquatic green forests, mountain top moss coppices, mountain top rhododendron and arrow bamboo shrubs, and mountain top basin moss swamps.
