Introduction to the ancient temple ruins of the Han Dynasty: Lao'eshan is the earliest Buddhist holy mountain in China. For thousands of years, believers and pilgrims have never stopped worshiping here. According to local historical records, the temples in Lao'es Mountain began in the Han Dynasty and flourished in the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. There were a total of 48 temples built in the mountain, with as many as a thousand monks at one time. During the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, Taoism was introduced to Lao'e Mountain. Xianwen built 36 nunneries in the mountain, and nearly 400 Taoist priests practiced in the mountain. The famous Taoist figure Du Guangting, the Qing Dynasty writer Peng Duanshu and other celebrities visited this mountain and left many psalms of praise.
